There are 2 supplies of broadband either direct from or LLU broadband which is equipment placed in the exchanges. An LLU operator will purchase copper pairs from Openreach (the subsidiary that operates local exchanges and the copper to residential and business property) and attach the copper to their own DSLAM equipment. From this DSLAM equipment they will utilise their own backhaul network arrangements from the local exchange as apposed to utilising the BT Wholesale Colossus network. So we provide services directly from both sources.
We provide unlimited download connections, prices from providers which are more aimed at the home user have download caps and restrictions of use and long contract periods which we have kept clear of, also they have additional costs for business use.
BT’s IP stream we offer at 20:1 contention or 50:1 contention with a static ip address or a block of ip addresses depending on your requirement. Allow 5 days installation or migration to us.

8 megmax with speeds up to 448kbps and 882kbps for the 20:1 version upload
The LLU version ADSL2+ technology offers the same 20:1 and 50:1 contention
8 mbit with speeds up to 448kbps and 882kbps for the 20:1 version upload
24 mbit with speeds up to 1.3mbit upload on both versions
The downside is if you have a BT adsl and wish to move across, the connection will need a cease order placed and then a new provide on the LLU version which will mean downtime, and 12 days installation from placing the order a new order on a new line allow 10 days for installation.
